Hard to improve listening ability
To examine my English skills, I took a standardized test called TOEFL today. My score is 24 in LC section, 13-29 in SWE section and 29 in RC section. While I am satisfied with the scores in SWE and RC section, I am totally not with that in LC section.
Recently, to improve listening ability, I keep listening some audio materilas repeatedly while going to my office and coming home. As a result, I have felt that I can listen to English better than I did a few month ago. However, my current listening ability is not enough to get more than 25 in LC section in TOEFL.
In order to improve my listneing ability daramatically, I try to do dicatation while listening to English in my commuting time.
If anyone else knows a better way to improve listening ability than I will, please advise me of it.

Betty:
Hello,
I’m Betty, How are you? Hope I could help in some way. I watched a lot of Japanese language TV dramas and movies while I studied Japanese, and I find that it really helped with my listening skills. It’s best when you can expose yourself to the language spoken normally and by different people as much as possible.
